I thought I had pretty much figured out how to be a successful social security office worker, but when I was asked to run these social security offices, I was still a complete and complete novice.
The first social security office was just a normal room filled with computers and telephones. The second one, however, was this large, empty office with a giant window. It was a nice place to work, but I was never really sure why anyone would want a window into their own home.
Social security offices are usually the ones where you work at the job for a few weeks and then you get transferred to a different one. In this case, though, the office was actually a second office. The second office was actually the office where the supervisor would be and would be working. It was just a few doors away from the first office. They were used for things like signing forms and talking on the phone. A lot of the time they didn’t even have telephones in the offices.
The office is actually a little bit different. The supervisor was a middle manager, which is like the most senior level in the office. The manager was really the boss. It was really the supervisor that ran things here, and it was the manager that actually was in charge of the office. One of the supervisors had a daughter, who was in charge of the office staff.
The office is very much like a boardroom. We see the manager talking to the supervisor, and the supervisor is talking to a lot of his subordinates. When we ask the supervisor how he feels about the new system, he mumbles something about being “afraid” that he might be losing his job. He then proceeds to tell us that his own daughter is the only one who really runs the place now.
Sure that sounds like the exact opposite of what’s happening. Of course, none of us is the president of the United States, and even if we were, that would be a very different story. But I do wonder what happened to the manager’s daughter that got her the job.
She was not hired because she’s the president. She was hired because she’s the president’s daughter.
I don’t know where this is going, but it sounds like the president daughter needs to clean up her act.
The only thing that really bothers me about this story is that in the last 20 years or so the president of the United States has had at least 4 different presidents and the only one who hasn’t been a woman is the first one, i.e. William McKinley.
I know this is an awkward situation for many people. Especially since the president is now an ex-president. But we should all strive to be better people and use our power and authority to help others.
