We asked Julie if she could write a guest post for us (read: she agreed) and she was kind enough to answer our first question, which was “Should I paint my new construction home?” Julie is the owner of a new construction home in downtown san antonio and she came up with an answer that she felt was so important to share.

Julie says she has been building houses in San Antonio for a little over a year and has been painting them for many years. She says she painted all of her homes when her mom was alive, she says she painted all of her houses when her parents were alive, and she painted her houses even when they were all her parents. But she says that she never did paint her own house.

But she hasn’t painted her own house. As a matter of fact, she doesn’t own a house. And she doesn’t paint a house for the same reason that you don’t own a house: you don’t want to. In fact, Julie says that she doesn’t spend a lot of time on it. And that’s because she’s not painting a lot of houses. She just paints when she wants to be in a house.

That’s why it’s important to take into account the things you like to paint in your room before you start painting it.
