If you’re an avid texan, this is your favorite recipe to be a part of. The addition of smoked bacon and the fact that it’s made with Texas, makes it something special. As a bonus, it also makes for a great breakfast.
It’s a little unusual, but I’ve tried this before and it really does work. It tastes pretty good, but there’s no real recipe, other than the fact that there are three servings. I’d say you could easily make a large batch, but what to do with all the leftover bacon you can’t eat? You could slice it up and freeze it for later, but the longer you leave it in the freezer, the more moisture it will have.

I’m not sure I’ve actually made a dish that was “Tex-Mex” before. I think I’ve made a Tex-Mex dish at least once in my life, but I don’t think I’ve ever called it Tex-Mex. The recipes, though, are both pretty tasty. I like the Dobbins recipe because it’s not that bad. It’s not bad at all.
