I’ve often wondered if there is a scientific reason why some people are able to achieve more in their careers than others. Well, I have found that a person who doesn’t experience a lot of stress but still has a healthy “work-life” balance is way ahead of the rest of the pack.
It’s not so much that we were genetically blessed by a lucky gene, but rather that we develop the skills and knowledge necessary to accomplish the things we do. To be successful, you need to have a work-life balance, which involves not being stressed out so much that you can’t function. It also involves the ability to work for your job long-term. In other words, you need to be able to work during some other part of your life, and not for work.
Being able to work in the other half of your life is very important. If you’ve ever had to do it for a while, you know how draining it can be. Especially if you’re a stay-at-home mom. Working for a living is just different than working for a hobby. You’re not just going to sit at your desk all day and do nothing.
People have said that working for a living is hard and boring and you need to enjoy it, but working for a job that you have to do because you have to show up for work is pretty much the same thing. I know that when I wanted to quit my job at a bank I didn’t get a job that I hated, I quit working for a bank. I didn’t just quit work. I quit working. You can’t just go from one job to the other.
People have a hard time with the idea of quitting a job that they don’t like. I think that it is a lot easier to leave your current job than it is to quit your current job. That is unless you have a really flexible schedule and you don’t have to work every single day, which is why I think they are hard to leave. However, I think there are times when it is harder to quit a job that you don’t like.
I think it is harder to leave your current job than it is to quit your current job. Maybe you cant really leave because you dont want to, or because you are scared that you will be fired for quitting. But the truth of the matter is that, when you are faced with the real world and the real risks, quitting a job you dont like is an easy option. You can quit because you are lazy and you want to hang out with your friends more.
It is interesting that people who leave their jobs for a time period longer than they originally intended are more likely to leave a job they dislike than quit a job they love. This might seem counter-intuitive, because it’s easy to become enamored with what you have right now. But it is also true that if you don’t like what you have now, you can always “make it better” or move on to something better.
Now I don’t know about you, but I would love to see us move on to something better. And it’s not that I haven’t been offered more flexible arrangements in my current job. I just don’t want to move to a better job just ’cause I have a better job.
Well, what if you already have a better job and someone offers you a better job? I dont think this is what it means to have a better job. Youre not saying you want to go to your better job just because the person in your current job is awesome and you want to keep building on that relationship.
I was talking with one of my coworkers the other day about the idea of creating a new company called COLLEEN DONNELL. I told him I was hoping to start this new company to make my job much more interesting. That was not what I meant to say. I said I wanted to do it to help with my career, but I didnt mean I wanted to make my job worse. I wanted to make my job easier and in the best possible way.
