After a period of intense physical training, yoga was the discipline that brought balance and inner peace to her life. She now teaches yoga classes at gyms across the United States as well as at her own studio in Los Angeles, California.
Amy is currently based in Southern California and has been practicing yoga for a long time. She’s had an opportunity to get to know the yoga community in Southern California from a local yoga master, and she’s been able to do a lot of yoga at her studio, too. The first thing that people will see about Amy Saharia is her beautiful smile and the way she carries herself.
Amy is the ultimate yoga teacher. She has been teaching for a long time and has a great sense of humor, and has been known to break into yoga poses to teach. We like to watch her go through a class, and its not uncommon to see her pull up to the mat and put her arms up in a little shrug to say, “I’m ok.
Amy has been a part of our yoga community with her studio since 2005. She is a master of the “kriya” pose, the pose that is meant to stretch you out and get you in and out of the pose. Amy has been teaching in our studio for several years now. She has taught numerous classes with a variety of styles, including the “tandoori” style.
Amy also loves to entertain. She also has a passion for music, so she can get you moving and energetic. This is especially true when she has you in a series of energetic yoga poses during which she teaches you the kriya pose.
Amy is an excellent yoga instructor, and a fantastic communicator. You get the feeling that Amy and I have had many a conversation over the years. She can usually be found at the studio or at a yoga class, even if she’s not with us that often.
